I enjoyed embroidering the Steeple Aston Cope - Lute playing Angel on the most beautiful and cheekiest horse ...I enjoyed making my hands do what those medieval hands did and I love the medieval humour .Cotton threads and silk....odd bits of gold threads and tiniest seed beads on the horse's bridle and breast collar ...and this took me a couple of years to do ...through some difficult times .
This Angel was my first attempt at using real silk threads .
